Dr. Roberta E. Sonnino  is a Pediatric Surgeon,  Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN.

Photography has been a long-standing passion for Dr. Sonnino, from the days of her first Brownie camera, and is her main method of stress relief. Her photographic endeavors range from medical photography to nature/macro photography and under water photography.  Other areas of photographic specialization include "candid" portraits of children,  pets , underwater, macro, nature, sunsets & sunrises and aerial photography.
